Well,
I've been rewarded with developing the CUSA website by being
nominated to write about myself in the CUSA members list...thanks
!
Although this is on an entirely voluntary basis, I shall set
a good example.
I actualy studied here in the University since Sep. 1993, doing
my HND and
top-up first degree, and generally enjoying being a Student...ho-hum,
once
I had finished my courses it was then time to get a job, I was
lucky? to get a job at the University Information Services Department,
as it was known then, as an Analyst/Programmer in the Student
Records Section.  I was put on the SAS system, where I am
now as I write this.  I've co-worked with Maria Moxon, Fiona
Reynolds and Patrick Bellis on the SAS system, along presently
with Sandy Erskine.
Also since I've been here I have been through 3 re-organisations
in 4 years but I bet some CUSA members can beat that one!!!

Watching
Trevor Cornwell (Asst Director) pick up a bunch of flowers put
in a bucket of water (unknown to him!) and picking them up really
quickly, of course the water just 'water-falled' down and splashed
all over the office floor and Trevor just standing there in
a rather perplexed fashion, whilst cracking up...I mean really
cracking up with laughter...and so was I...
ha, ha ,ha !!!
P.S. - Trevor if you are reading this, it was not me who filled
the bucket with water - honest!
